| | I've never been a huge exerciser. Every Spring I get the bug when I see the weight I've gained over the Winter sloth period, and then I run for a week or two. This year I did the same, but then I did not quit. I stopped the running, but I kept up with the 30 minutes of basic exercise, every other day.
Here is my current routine:
- 45 second half moon.
- 30 Jackknifes
- 45 second each side Spinal Twist
- 45 Second Bridge
- 6 Torso Twists
- 6 Side Torse Twists
- 6 Pushup/Side Planks
- 13 minutes of aerobic boxing
- 20-30 Jacknifes
- 10-15 Pushups
And in that, there may be other additions, but as of the last 2-3 weeks, this is what my routine has been. Before that, I did at least 30 minutes, but this it one that sticks pretty good.
But the changes I've noticed. I can just feel the muscle in my body. I've always had a larger frame, but not with muscles. I can feel them when I bend over, side to side, stretch. My abs are 2-3 times as good. But I also think I developed what they call a "muscle stomach". I haven't exercise my lower abs as well, so I need to start focusing on them to pull my stomach back in.
My arms are also suddenly larger. Not the 2 - 3 times stronger like my abs, but 10-20%, enough that Rachel notices big time. So I'll keep doing these exercises, and hopefully I can fix my abs a bit better. But the coolest part? It works! You just have to keep at it, and make a schedule.
